Updated: Oct 4, 2022

We are seeking children in Grades 1-5 to participate in our Saturday Robotics Camp.

Date: Saturday Oct 8, 8:30-11:30

Location: Maxim Doucet Hall, UL Lafayette, LA 70503

About the Robotics Camp Systems thinking, being able to identify the parts of systems and viewing these systems as malleable, is a key skill for all innovators. This hands-on robotics camp will engage children in first understanding the parts of simple systems and then creating models of these systems. Developing skill in systems thinking will happen through fun hands-on design challenges and robotics activities. As the children work through these challenges, they will engage in critical thinking, problem solving, and mathematics.

Overview of the Saturday Program

The Saturday programs provide an opportunity for our UL Lafayette education majors to gain experience in working with children. Each child will be teamed with other children and UL education majors.

All programs will be in Maxim Doucet Hall located on the UL Lafayette campus. Registration is required.
