Congratulations to the Scott Middle School Robotics students and their outstanding teacher, Mr. Nicholas Gallimore, on an impressive showing at the regional Future City Competition held on January 17th in Houston, TX. Competing among thirty-six teams, Scott Middle School proudly represented as the sole participating Louisiana school and earned the People’s Choice Award. Mr. Gallimore was also honored with the prestigious Mentor of the Year Award, a recognition that reflects his unwavering commitment to student success, his passion for teaching, and his dedication to empowering students to believe in their ideas and abilities. This achievement is both a proud milestone and a powerful launchpad, recognizing the dedication, teamwork, and effort demonstrated by all.
